In 2016, a singer/songwriter/turtle-lover from Toronto emerged from her shell and shared with the world her Hidden Gems, a debut EP that garnered attention, fans, and a confirmation that Staasia Daniels’ decision to do music was indeed the right one.
A year later, Staasia reveals another love: of food, with the release of one of her top songs, Peanut Butter, which ultimately became a part of her second major EP, Mood Roulette.
By this time, Staasia has received recognition from top publications including NOW, Exclaim!, and Complex, and has graced the stages at SXSW, A3C, CMW, NXNE, and many more including Toronto’s Mod Club and her own headlining shows at Drake Underground and Rivoli.
Spotify streams are in the hundreds of thousands and constantly growing, especially with the release of her latest EP, Whatever Happens Happens, and whatever is happening seems to be propelling her towards the stardom she exudes.

“The line between R&B and Soul is carefully blurred with mellifluous vocals by Staasia Daniels. The young singer propels listeners into a state of utter bliss with airy vocals on aggressive 808’s… It’s only a matter of time before Staasia gets an opportunity to truly shine.”
“In fact, I’m willing to bet money that this soulful R&B crooner is the next big thing coming out of Toronto. She’d probably kill me for saying that, not because she doesn’t believe in her talent, but because she’s not one for bragging.”
“R&B has never sounded sexier. One of the smoothest projects we heard all year, full of chilled out r&b flavor reminiscent of Aaliyah and Brandy. We are sure we will be hearing way more from the talented songstress.”
“Staasia Daniels has quietly established a ‘one to watch’ tag for a collection of singles and videos in the past few years… Daniels is deserving of all the attention that’s coming her way.”
