Staasia Daniels is a singer/songwriter/heck-of-a-performer from Toronto who specializes in contemporary R&B, standing out with her uniquely sensual sound combining a sultry voice and quirky lyrics that make emotional depths fun, sexy, and smart.

Aside from empowering people and causing babies to be born and whatever else people do with her music, she has also single-handedly raised blood pressure (in the best way possible) on stages at SXSW, A3C Fest, Canadian Music Week, NXNE, and her own shows (including many as headliner) all over North America.

She has received recognition from Complex, exclaim!, NOW, HipHopCanada, and many other publications and continues to feed our eyes and our minds with her active social media pages.

Currently, she is working on her next EP due later this year called Was It Something I Sang, supported by the singles The Coochie Song and Do You Wanna.

Staasia Daniels featured in NOW Magazine

“The line between R&B and Soul is carefully blurred with mellifluous vocals by Staasia Daniels. The young singer propels listeners into a state of utter bliss with airy vocals on aggressive 808’s… It’s only a matter of time before Staasia gets an opportunity to truly shine.”

“In fact, I’m willing to bet money that this soulful R&B crooner is the next big thing coming out of Toronto. She’d probably kill me for saying that, not because she doesn’t believe in her talent, but because she’s not one for bragging.”
-Talia Leacock

“R&B has never sounded sexier. One of the smoothest projects we heard all year, full of chilled out r&b flavor reminiscent of Aaliyah and Brandy. We are sure we will be hearing way more from the talented songstress.”

“Staasia Daniels has quietly established a ‘one to watch’ tag for a collection of singles and videos in the past few years… Daniels is deserving of all the attention that’s coming her way.”
